Dr. Mahua Datta is a versatile Marketing trainer and facilitator. She is also Associate Committee member and well wisher of Seven Boats Academy<\/strong>. Dr. Datta has more than 20 years of work experience in corporates like Standard Chartered, HDFC etc. and academic institutions like Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, ISB&M, EIILM, Unitedworld School of Business, ICFAI Business School etc. She completed her graduation in Economics and MBM in Marketing Management from University of Calcutta. She has done her PhD in Retail Marketing Management and has published several research papers in journals and conferences. She has received best paper awards from several institutions including IIT Kharagpur, IIM Ahmedabad. She has been a corporate trainer for more than 15 years now and has trained senior management employees of several public and private sector organisations in the area of Marketing and Digital Marketing with special focus on consumer behaviour and content strategy. She is a proud alumnus of Seven Boats Academy as well. Currently she is working as the Chief Manager Business Development with Ingreens Private limited. She is an avid traveller and loves meeting people. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mahua Datta is the founder partner of brand DevilYou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nShe\nstarted the brand DevilYou with another Marketing Trainer along with\nfew students and since then this brand has popularised itself all\nover India only via Digital Marketing. She has an avid interest in\nsocial media marketing specially Instagram which is the platform that\nhas led to the phenomenal growth in business for brand DevilYou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nDevilYou\nis the brainchild of two academicians in the field of marketing who\nalways believed that real learning could happen beyond the classroom\nlectures. Despite their regular hectic schedule of teaching,\ntraining, project supervision and nurturing young talents, they never\nhave deviated from their core principles, philosophy and ethics.\nTheir inexorable march of passion, perfectionism and commitment\ndovetailed into their love for chocolates that led to formation of\nthe company DEMASS Chocolates and brand DevilYou in 2016 along with\ntwo students. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nBut\nit has a long past!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nIt\nall started with a class project seven years back on homemade\nchocolates, which then got bigger into a business model that the\nstudents have presented and won prize in business plan competition\nand live sales competition organized by premium business schools\nincluding IIM Calcutta. As a classic case of lean start up, this\njourney witnessed a number of pivots and design thinking, considering\nthe challenges that one academician often faces on being entered into\nan uncharted territory of entrepreneurship. In 2016, things started\nshaping a bit with two students having firm commitment in the\nproject. They all also shared the belief of sustainable and inclusive\ngrowth as espoused by Triple Bottom Line model which focuses on\ncreating social and environmental value along with the traditional\nfinancial value. Hence, the company since its inception days focused\non using natural ingredients in the production to the extent\npossible. Currently the company\u2019s endeavour hinges on incorporating\nmore and more flavours suiting the Indian palate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next level will involve emancipation of marginalized people in the process of business value creation by empowering them with knowledge, skill and confidence so that they could quash the evil of poverty, alienation, lack of self-esteem and mistreatment thus justifying the brand motto \u201cDestroy Evil in You\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
