Smart online marketing on this rather underrated web page can help you convert casual visitors or potential leads into sales.   • Multiple Contact Options: Review the ‘Contact Us’ page on your website. Does it have only a phone number of email id? That is not sufficient. You need more than one contact options for your users. Provide other contact choices like connecting to your website through a Facebook or Twitter login. You cannot expect that every online user will like to pick up the phone and call your numbers. Give them options and that will increase your chances of bagging a lead out of nowhere.
  • Website-wide Information: Do not limit your contact coordinates to the ‘Contact Us’ page only. Spread them out over your entire website, preferably all the web pages you have. Users must not feel lost when it hits them to contact you on reading a certain web page. If you allow them to hunt out contact information to reach you, take it that they will not bother to do so! However, if you keep the information right on their computer screen, no matter which page they are on, they will respond to the call of action.
  • Different Contact Reasons: It is presumptuous to conclude that only buyers of your products and services will contact you. There are others as well who may feel the need to get in touch with your business. Having a single contact point that works for buyers only is not smart internet marketing. You need to provide more contact points for different kinds of users on your ‘Contact Us’ page.
  • Live Chat: This trend is fast catching up in digital marketing technology. Having an online chat option for users to instantly ask questions or touch base with you is a must-have. Of course, you need the manpower to keep someone posted to answer users’ queries in real time. The point to note is that do not leave the line alive when there’s no one manning it. Encourage users to get online and speak to your agents. That will give you a fair chance to persuade leads into sales.
