Google author rankIn these days of internet marketing, it is important to build up your brand’s identity around the content that you generate. Online users must identify your brand with the excellent article they just read on your page or the informative blog post that they read and shared with their friends. A strong Author Rank can do that for you! But to acquire that, you need to follow the guidelines mentioned here:

First, keywords mean a lot to how quickly or easily people can find you on the internet. That part, thankfully or otherwise, has not changed about online content writing! You have to write content that pays obeisance to keywords that are trending on Google. You can make use of the keyword tools provided by Google and also study Google Trends. You will also do well to look at Twitter Trends if you want to share your content on the microblogging site.

Second, create content consistently. There must not be long gaps between two write-ups, no matter how good they are. Out of sight means out of mind on the internet! Moreover, if readers like your article or blog post, they will surely come back for more. On returning, they will be disappointed to see that you have not updated your blog with fresh content. Adding content regularly also ensures that the search engine crawlers don’t forget your online presence.

Third, spend some more time in deciding the title of your content. The title plays a major role, both for the readers as well as for the search engine algorithms. Readers must be able to make a fair amount of idea of what the post is about from the title that pops up. That way, they will not be disappointed to read your post and return empty-handed. As for the search engines, the title is ‘crawled’ first, so the indexing depends on how good or bad it is in the SEO context.

Fourth, you cannot be sloppy about what you are writing for your online readers. Use keywords ‘naturally’ and avoid stuffing them for better SEO. At the same time, the content must be aimed to please the reader, not your CEO! Solve problems for the reader or aim to answer their concerns and questions. That will make your copy more interesting than just writing about your products and services.
